At the end of the track as we approach the site of where the level crossing was with Queen Mary’s Road is the Former West Weymss Railway Station, which you can see in earlier photos on my stream

Old Railway Walk on Flickr.Heading along the old trackbed of the Thornton Junction to Methil branch railway towards Thornton I am nearly at the end of where you can walk as you then come to the Golf course which was extended once the railway was dismantled you can just make out the gates at the end in the centre of the photo. The trackbed behind me led to West Wemyss Station and you can see what is left of that in photos back along my photostream

Heading along the old trackbed of the Thornton Junction to Methil branch railway towards Thornton I am nearly at the end of where you can walk as you then come to the Golf course which was extended once the railway was dismantled you can just make out the gates at the end in the centre of the photo.

The trackbed behind me led to West Wemyss Station and you can see what is left of that in photos back along my photostream

This is as far as you can go on it as you come to the point where the Golf Course is just beyond the gates on the left, the Golf course was extended when the railway was removed. At the other end of the track is the Former West Weymss Railway Station which you can see in earlier photos on my stream I thought I would try the Pano option on my phone and I must admit it came out much better than what I thought it would. The track straight ahead takes you round to Mackie’s Mill and the track on the right is the Dismantled Branch Line of the railway
